Just A Girl

Hi everyone
First, I wanted to make this topic a long time ago but I didn't
time to do that. Luckily, now I'm free so I'll start with it
As you can read the title It's about the lovely and beautiful
novel Pride and Prejudice
http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/images/n11/n58995.jpg
Those who didn't read it I advice them to read because they'll
gain more benefits that not reading it. I've read it four times and
if I have the chance to read it again I'll do it.
Of course there are some requirements before reading
this novel which are:
- You must read about the customs and traditions of the 18th
century in England.
^
I didn't need that but I think you do
- You must be prepared for words you'll read for the first time
and others that may appear similar to other words but
within the novel it carries another meaning
for example, while I was reading I notice the word
Countenance
the first time, I didn't know what it means but when I looked
it up in the dictionary it appeared that it has an old use which
means "Face"
Do you believe it?
The benefits that you'll gain:
- Vocabulary and a lot of them.
- Know how to make a conversation like the old English.
- Know the traditions of that time and the culture
^
For me, this is more fascinating than the story itself
because this novel is all about the traditions
I think I have said what I want
Next time, by Allah's will, I'll bring you a brief summary
of Jane Austen's biography. She's my favorite English novelist
After that, I'll try and explain some events of the plot
In my topic, I welcome anyone who shares the habit of reading
English books and the ones who don't like books on one condition
that they try and read because reading is so great. It opens closed
door in your mind and let you fly to other place from where you're sitting
^
I must be a poet..... LOOOOL
Finally, feel free to comment and share everything about this novel
with us. but I prefer it not to be from the INTERNET
..... Best Wishes .....
